Accenture & Google Cloud Join Hands to Help Life Science Organizations

Accenture and Google Cloud have declared recently that Google cloud is going to be the cloud technology provider for Accenture’s life sciences industry platform, Intient. The Intient platform offers life sciences organizations with end-to-end solutions from research and discovery to clinical developments and the delivery of treatments.

The latest, long term agreement brings Accenture’s life sciences services platforms along with Google’s cloud and artificial intelligence capabilities, which is intended to help life science organizations to make their data more secure, valuable, and accessible.

Last May, Accenture launched Intient, which centers on big data with the end goal of developing patient care. To enable faster clinical trials, the platform not only secures and stores data, but also applies robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to offer researchers important insights.

Accenture is one of the leading worldwide professional service organizations, offering a wide range of services and solutions in consulting, strategy, technology, digital, and operations. On the other hand, Google Cloud offers companies with their leading infrastructure, industry solutions, and platform abilities. This goes along with the expertise to redesign its business with modern computing infrastructure with data-powered innovation.

As a part of the agreement, Google Cloud will be the cloud technology provider for present and future solutions that are included in the Accenture Intient platform for life sciences. Besides, the agreement is added last eight years back and the current agreement is an extension of the partnership among Google and Accenture.

Group chief executive of Products at Accenture Simon Eaves said,

INTIENT will advance Accenture’s and Google Cloud’s shared mission to empower life sciences organizations with intelligent solutions that help bring innovative treatments to patients around the world, with greater speed, safety, and efficacy. Together, we can deliver exceptional value to clients at a rapid pace.

President of Google, Tariq Shaukat, remarked that they are excited to partner with Accenture to transform the life sciences industry with Google cloud technologies. He further added that their shared goal is to speed-up the developments in the treatments by using powerful Google cloud capabilities, like AI and data analytics and to gain insights that associate events, symptoms, and treatments in unexpected ways.

Accenture is also counting on its partners, content providers, and independent software vendors who are working with biotech and pharma clients so that they can add value to Intient through their development contributions, as Google backs up open-source technology.
